Some of this is health data and is treated as sensitive. You decide what to enter; the app does not require any of it to function.
All records are stored locally in the app's database on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your health records. There is no user account, no login, no cloud backup and no cross-device sync. We cannot read your records, and we cannot recover them for you if the app is uninstalled or the device is lost.
UricLog does not connect to Google Health Connect or any other health platform in this version.
There are exactly four paths, and each is started by you:
When you export your records, the file is generated on your device. It leaves the device only if you choose to save it somewhere or share it.
Report PDFs and summary cards are passed to your operating system's share sheet. What happens next depends on the app you pick there; we never receive a copy.
Voice input uses the speech recognition service built into your phone (Google on Android, Apple on iOS). Audio is transcribed by that system service according to the platform provider's own terms. UricLog does not upload, store or retain your audio. Only the resulting text is kept, in the same local database as your other records.
If you use photo recognition or type a meal description, the image or text you provide is sent over HTTPS to our relay service (hosted on Vercel) and forwarded once to an AI model provider (Alibaba Cloud Model Studio, processing in the United States) solely to produce that one recognition result.

Subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Google Play. Subscription status is managed for us by RevenueCat, which receives only an anonymous app user identifier and the transaction state — never your name, payment card, billing address or any health field. We do not receive or store payment details.
UricLog contains no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics SDKs, and does not collect advertising identifiers. We do not build behavioural profiles and we do not track you across other apps or websites. Crash and usage diagnostics are limited to what the platform itself offers on an opt-in basis; we do not run our own telemetry.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with third parties except for the service providers named in sections 4.4 and 5, which act on our instructions and are bound to use it only for the service they provide. We may disclose information if required by applicable law, but because we hold no health records, such a request could not produce them.
Records are protected by your device's own app sandbox and storage encryption. Data sent for optional meal recognition travels over HTTPS. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so please keep your device lock enabled.
UricLog is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes affecting how data leaves your device will also be described in the app's release notes.
UricLog is a record-keeping tool. It is not a medical device, it does not diagnose or treat any condition, and it does not provide medical advice. Reference ranges shown in the app come from published guidelines and can be edited by you. Always consult a qualified clinician about your health.
